Aquinas is a thriving Catholic Sixth Form College in Stockport with around 2400 FTE students. The College wishes to appoint to the following post to start in January 2026:

Learning Support Assistant – Pathways, up to 35 hours, term time (44.4 weeks)

To support and assist students with learning difficulties and disabilities on Entry and Level 1 courses. Appropriate qualifications and/or experience of learning difficulties and disabilities are desirable.

 

Salary scale £24,953 – £25,330 (pro-rata actual salary £20,903 – £21,219 if working 35 hours)

Candidates must be innovative, enthusiastic and meet the appropriate person specification. The above appointments will be made on the Sixth Form Colleges’ Association support staff pay scale.
