Hours: 32.5 hours per week, hours to be confirmed, 38 weeks per year

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to assist in the support and inclusion of pupils with Special Educational Needs, working alongside our hardworking and supportive staff. The successful candidate will be required to provide support within and beyond the classroom under the direction of the class teacher. A demonstrable interest in working with children with Special Educational Needs is essential and an understanding of how to support children on the Autism Spectrum is highly desirable.
The ideal candidate will:
- Be educated to GCSE standard or equivalent in Maths and English
- Be a professional, skilful LSA with relevant experience
- Demonstrate a willingness and ability to support children’s learning within a primary school setting
- Have good communication skills with children and adults and be committed to working as part of a team
- Be willing to actively support the Catholic ethos of the school
