The Emmaus Catholic Academy Trust (Diocese of Salford) is dedicated to providing an outstanding Catholic Education to our pupils. We are seeking to expand our central team and appoint a Head of IT Services to support our central and school teams.
As the successful candidate you will be a humble and credible, outstanding and highly motivated leader who will be a key member of the Trust’s Leadership Group.
We are seeking a forward thinking, dynamic IT/Digital professional able to lead and manage the strategic development, maintenance and delivery of the IT/Digital services of a rapidly growing catholic academy trust. You should have the knowledge and experience to ensure that the Trust has an appropriate, secure, and sustainable digital infrastructure and data management to support current and future education and operational needs.
This post would be suitable for an individual with extensive experience of supporting and advising Academy Trusts, someone who keeps abreast of developing technologies, who is able to collaborate with key staff to incorporate new ideas into the CAT’s future plans.
The Head of IT Services will have responsibility for developing the Emmaus CATs IT and Digital framework and will demonstrate a strong understanding of the CATs structure and requirements, helping to shape the direction and vision of the CAT.

Contract/Hours of work: full-time (35hrs per week) permanent, all year-round contract.

Location: Based at the CATs central offices in Sale with occasional travel to the schools within the CAT.
