St Gregory’s Catholic Science College, part of the All Saints’ Trust,  is a vibrant and inclusive secondary school located in Brent. Required from April 2026, we are currently seeking an inspiring and motivated  Head of Biology to join our high performing and dedicated Science Department in our Ofsted Outstanding School (latest inspection February 2025).

There are opportunities to teach GCSE combined science, GCSE triple science, A level Biology, Physics and Chemistry as well as BTEC Health & Social Care and BTEC Medicine.

Science is a highly successful and well-resourced department, staffed with subject specialists, assisted by two technicians.  We are also keen to provide as many extra-curricular opportunities for our students as possible and the Biology department help out with our award winning Eco-Garden. The department also run a robotics club and recent trips have included a visit to Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital.

Effective safeguarding, data protection and promoting the welfare of pupils is our utmost priority. References will be sought and the successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
