We are now looking for an exceptional Teacher of Engineering, who has the ability to deliver outstanding teaching and learning to young people aged 16-19. For unqualified teachers, with a wealth of Engineering experience, we will help ensure you are able to gain a recognised teaching qualification.
You will join a talented staff team in a successful Sixth Form and will be supported to develop your teaching practice in an environment of positive encouragement and mutual respect. You’ll provide outstanding teaching, learning and assessment, stretching and challenging your students to reach their potential. You will ensure they feel confident about going out into the world and being extraordinary in life and in their future career.
The salary is based on the SFCA’s teaching spine points 1-9 £37,057 to £54,604 inclusive of London Weighting. For an unqualifiedteacher, the salary range is based on CTK’s unqualified teaching spine points £32,438 – £35,024.
We welcome applications from ECT’s and we are able to offer a tailored programme of support towards successful completion of your induction year. We would expect an unqualified teacher to work towards a recognised teaching qualification, supported by the Sixth Forms.
