We are seeking an outstanding CL for Art to drive forward our provision, joining our culture of achievement, with plenty of opportunities for professional development and career progression, a well-resourced department and a welcoming and supportive school community based on strong values.

We are passionate about fostering creativity, expression and critical thinking in our students and Art plays a vital role in this mission. As a Catholic school, we believe that the arts are not only essential for personal growth and self-expression but also for developing the skills necessary to navigate and contribute to the world around us. We are seeking a CL for Art who will inspire students, cultivate their artistic potential and to develop our curriculum so that it embraces both traditional techniques and contemporary practices. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the artistic vision of our school, empowering students to think imaginatively, communicate visually and engage with the world through the transformative power of art.

As this is a single teacher department, applications are also welcome from teachers who are looking for their first experience of leadership in a curriculum area.
