About All Saints Catholic College
All Saints is an 11-16 school, situated near the northern boundary of Kirklees. We are a Catholic school with students attending from diverse cultural backgrounds, which contributes to the distinctive ethos. In November 2022, Ofsted judged All Saints “Good” in every category, and we received an “Outstanding” judgement from our S48 inspection by the Diocese of Leeds in June 2018.
About the role
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated Cover Supervisor to provide supervision of classes in the absence of teaching staff.
You will be delivering set work, managing behaviour, and liaising with supply staff.
During non-cover periods the successful candidate will be expected to undertake duties including supporting students in lesson, mentoring, exam invigilation, general administration, display work and lunchtime supervision.
There may be an opportunity to work closely within a curriculum area e.g., PE, determined by mutual agreement.
Classroom experience and the ability to engage effectively with children is an important requirement.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our College. In turn, we are looking for a candidate committed to playing a part in transforming the lives of our young people.
Please note, you will be working 31.25 hours per week. Monday to Friday 8.30am – 3.15pm during term time. You will also work an additional day at the start of each academic year for staff training.
