Contract Length: Fixed Term until 18 July 2025 with potential to extend

Working hours: 13 hours per week, preferably over 4 days

We seek to appoint an Art Technician to facilitate the smooth running of the Art department working alongside teaching staff. You should have a passion for Art and Arts Education. In addition to supporting teaching staff in classes, you will play an active role in educating our students by running Art Clubs and other activities in school.

The role will include:

● Assisting in classes as directed by teaching staff

● Assisting with the provision of out of school learning activities

● Preparation of materials and equipment for practical lessons

● Maintenance and monitoring of consumables and equipment

● Administration Health and Safety checks on all equipment

● Adhoc evening work to support events for which flexibility in working hours is essential

● Standing for periods of time, lifting and transporting resources/materials, some work involving visual display units
