The Governors seek to appoint a well-qualified, creative, and enthusiastic Teacher of Mathematics to join a strong, innovative and successful department. The school is part of the LaSWAP sixth form consortium and offers opportunities to teach all pupils up to and including Further Mathematics at A-level.
The successful applicant will be fully supported by colleagues in a high-performing and cohesive team which invests in the promotion of mathematics across the school and in the wider community. Our team have created an extensive and enriching curriculum that supports our pupils in developing a conceptual understanding of mathematics. We want our pupils to think deeply about mathematical ideas. How can a mathematical idea be represented with manipulatives? What are the connections between different mathematical representations? The successful candidates should:
- Share a genuine interest in the development of teaching and learning in mathematics.
- Be a highly reflective practitioner with an ambition to constantly refine and develop their own practice in response to research.

- Have high expectations for the learning and achievement of all students.
- Support the catholic ethos of the school and have a strong commitment to the formation of young people
