St Columba's College

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dynamic Teacher of Business and Economics to join our vibrant department. If you are passionate about these subjects and eager to inspire young minds to explore the economic complexities of our world, we invite you to become part of our community. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the intellectual and emotional landscape of our young people.

The role presents an opportunity to work alongside a team of Business and Economics specialists, play a key role in the development of the curriculum and become an integral part of a thriving department within our College.

Candidates must have a willingness to play a full part in the extra-curricular life of the College and be in sympathy with its Catholic ethos. In return we offer an attractive salary and benefits package including a generous fee remission for the children of staff educated at the college, longer school holidays including two weeks for October half term, free lunches, car parking, use of the Fitness Suite, support with continuing professional development and cycle to work and tech schemes.

St Columba’s College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. All post holders will be required to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the role, including reference checks with past employers, online background checks, and the Disclosure & Barring Service.
