St John Rigby College

St John Rigby College offers a wide range of academic and vocational courses at all levels in a highly supportive and caring environment to approximately 1450 full-time students aged 16-18. We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated Head of Health & Social Care in achieving excellent levels of student attendance, retention, and achievement through the highest quality teaching, learning and assessment.

Remission of 4.5 hours is available to this post and remuneration will be based on the Sixth Form College teaching pay scale up to £47,133 per annum plus a Head of Department Responsibility Allowance (Range: £3,000 – £5,000 per annum).

The College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and vulnerable adults and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. The successful applicant will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
