About All Saints Catholic College

All Saints is an 11-16 school, situated near the northern boundary of Kirklees. We are a Catholic school with students attending from diverse cultural backgrounds, which contribute to the distinctive ethos. In November 2022, Ofsted judged All Saints “Good” in every category, and we received an “Outstanding” judgement from our S48 inspection by the Diocese of Leeds in June 2018.

About the role

The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic and highly motivated Business Support Officer who will provide key support to our Finance Team.

You will be a proactive and organised individual who wants to further develop their professional skills in a highly effective, fast-paced environment.

As part of your role, you will assist the Finance and Business Managers with a variety of essential tasks, including:

·        Raising purchase orders and monitoring requests

·        Processing invoices and managing expenditure

·        Maintaining accurate records in the school’s FMS system

·        Reconciling bank accounts, including school funds

·        Liaising with suppliers and stakeholders

·        Handling departmental calls and responding to emails

·        Contributing to income generation by sourcing and managing bids

·        Organising school trips and uploading necessary documentation to Evolve

You will have strong Excel skills, be self-motivated, and capable of prioritising a diverse workload. Experience with FMS and ParentPay will be advantageous, but full training will be given.

Full support will be given by both the Finance Manager and School Business Manager to ensure you thrive in this role.

Please note, you will be working 28 hours per week during term time, plus 1 additional day for staff training.
