St Mary’s Catholic High School is a popular 11–18 mixed Academy with excellent student behaviour and judged to be ‘Outstanding’ (Ofsted October 2012). This is a wonderful opportunity for an experienced or newly qualified Mathematics Teacher to join an outstanding school and become a valued member of our successful Mathematics Department at one of the top 20% performing schools in the country. Academic results are excellent, consistently achieving above-average Progress 8 scores as well as impressive Attainment 8, Ebacc average point scores and outstanding A Level results.
In addition to excellent subject knowledge and qualifications, the successful candidate will be an exceptional classroom practitioner with the commitment and ability to engage and motivate all students to achieve their full potential. He/she will contribute to the delivery and development of Mathematics across the age and ability spectrum – the ability to teach A Level Maths and Further Maths would be advantageous.
