TEACHER OF MODERN FOREIGN LANGUAGES 0.6FTE (TMS/UPS)
Temporary Maternity Cover from January 2022 (NQT’s welcome)
The Governors at St. Paul’s Catholic School have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Teacher of Modern Foreign Languages to join this successful and thriving department. To teach across the age and ability range at KS3, 4 & 5. The person appointed will be an excellent teacher able to teach French and German up to KS5 in a school committed to the teaching of Modern Languages and where all pupils study a modern language to GCSE. The ability to teach A ‘Level French is essential. As a department, we also enjoy extending our own language learning, be it developing a second foreign language or learning a new language from scratch. A willingness to consider this would be seen favourably.
Our commitment to excellent teaching and learning can be demonstrated through bespoke CPD opportunities and through the management of a growing and successful training school.
All staff members are committed to the care and success of pupils and working in a setting where values of forgiveness, concern for others and respect are shared as the core values of St. Paul’s, regardless of faith.
Closing date for applications is Friday 1st October 2021 at 9.00am
All appointments are subject to a satisfactory enhanced DBS disclosure. St. Paul’s is committed to the safeguarding of children and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
