St Gregory’s Catholic High School is looking to appoint a Teacher of Geography (with the ability to teach KS3 History) on a maternity contract in the first instance, with the potential of becoming a full time permanent employee, due to the continuing expansion of our school which will be complete in September 2022. It is in the school’s strategic growth plan to appoint a full time Geography teacher (with KS3 History) for September 2022.
In the first instance, the position being advertised is a maternity contract and this period is an outstanding opportunity to demonstrate your future potential towards a full time contract, to fill the permanent position when this is required. During the maternity contract, the successful candidate will only be required to teach Geography.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious teacher of Geography to join St Gregory’s Catholic High School, an Ofsted ‘Good’ School (January 2020) with an Outstanding Catholic life judgement (Section 48 February 2019).
