Contract duration: Temporary contract until August 31st 2026 (20 months) in the first instance
Flexible hours and days: The successful candidate can work 3 days (0.6), 4 days (0.8) or 5 days (full time) but will be required to be in school on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. This flexibility provides candidates with an outstanding work / life balance where suitable, whilst working in one of the best schools in the North West.
Salary: M3 to UPS3 (£35,674 to £49,084) – possible TLR enhancement in addition dependent on experience.
St. Gregory’s Catholic High School seeks to appoint an ambitious applicant who is a strong teacher of GCSE Sociology. Some experience in teaching KS3 RE is desirable too.

The successful applicant is required from 6th January 2025 to teach a KS4 (Y10) GCSE Sociology group of ambitious pupils. The GCSE Sociology time commitment is 3 hours per week with the remaining time teaching KS3 RE or another 2nd subject that you may be experienced in. This can be discussed at interview.
