Assistant Building Services Supervisor

Hours of Work: 36.5 Hours per week/52 weeks per year (Flexible to ensure the cover during opening hours)

Location: Across all school within the MAC

The St John Paul II Multi Academy is a highly successful Catholic Multi Academy encompassing 6 Primary Schools and 2 Secondary Schools. Our schools are based in Sutton Coldfield, Erdington and Aston.

The ethos of St John Paul II Multi Academy is Catholic and was founded by the Catholic Church to provide education for children of Catholic families.

As a Catholic multi academy, we aim to provide a Catholic education for all our pupils. As a Catholic multi academy, Catholic doctrine and practice permeate every aspect of every one of our school’s activities. It is essential that the Catholic character of the school’s education be fully supported by all staff within the multi academy. We therefore hope that all staff will give their full, unreserved and positive support for the aims and ethos of the St John Paul II Multi Academy.

We have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic individual to join our well resourced team as Assistant Building Services Supervisor;

To assist line managers to provide a clean, safe and secure environment for users of the school buildings and grounds.

The post holder must understand and fully support the ethos, mission and aims of Catholic Education.

The post holder must be able to demonstrate their suitability for working with children and have the ability to converse with/advise staff and members of the public at ease in accurate spoken English.

The post holder must hold a full UK driving licence and have access to their own vehicle.

This post is covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for this role.
