Term Time Working
35 hours per week, 34 weeks per year on a 2-week rota, starting early shift at 7am and finishing latest shift at 8pm including weekends.
We are seeking to appoint a part time Catering General Assistant to join our team based at Worth School.
The role of the General Assistant is to assist in the day to day running and cleaning of the Kitchen and Refectory / Pit Stop Café; and providing consistently high food standards and service.
As the General Assistant, your responsibilities would include:
- Perform and maintain a high standard of cleaning throughout all areas of the kitchen and servery including surfaces, floors, equipment, crockery and cutlery.
- Assist with food and drink preparation for service and functions.
- Provide and maintain a high level of customer service, when serving food and waiting at functions.
- Adhere to health and safety procedures, food safety and hygiene.
- Continuously review existing procedures and suggest potential improvements and efficiencies through automation, new technologies and changes to ways of working.
